east coastin’

Right after the success of my last show at Charmingwall it was road trip time to Philadelphia to install the next show, Climb in the Back Window. After jamming the car chock full of artwork and getting lost in the northeast interstate system, we finally arrived at the brand new gallery, Shadow’s Space — which is located on the top floor of Kung Fu Necktie in the historic Fish Town of Philly. Tomorrow we head back down to enjoy the fruits of our labor and hopefully make our presence known to an all new audience of art enthusiasts.

We are all proud to mention that will be something for everyone who comes out to the show. All artists have agreed to price their work to reflect our current economic times and there will be handfuls of stickers, books, and screen prints for sale and/or given away through out the night.

Here is iO Wright (the curator), Kofie One, and myself printing up some shirts and posters to be sold opening night.

T-shirts are available here.

Once I figure out how to present the rest of the photos from the production of the show…I will be posting them up here.

Charmingwall – update

Thanks to those who came out for a charming show at the Charmingwall.  We all (including me) made the most of small space and I am happy how it all came out.  I have a bad habit of bringing my camera to shows then fidgeting with it all night and forgetting to take photos at all, so my good friend Kam helped me snap a few.

My relationship with Charmingwall began with print sales over a year ago.  If you are looking for an affordable gift option of my artwork or any of their other great artists and illustrators, check em out here.

The installation was comprised of work old and new assembled on the wall with a little bit of paint job.  Pretty stoked how it came out.

That’s Katie — she runs the gallery & showroom and was more than helpful as we prepared for the show.

Cam & Kam looking dapper at the opening.  Hello gents…thanks for the pics, Kam.

Silence Speaks Volumes @ Charmingwall Gallery

It is time once again for another visit to New York.  This time I will be staying longer and bringing my bike – so hit me up if you want to go for a ride.

My second show in NY will be at Charmingwall Gallery in the West Village of Manhattan.  I have been working with them for over a year producing affordable prints to be sold online and in the NY area. Print sales have been good to say the least, so we felt it was time for me stop in and do an install.  Their gallery space is small but very nice (aka “charming”) and I plan to use every square inch of it.

Here’s all the info plus a sneak peak of some of the new work that will be in the show.  Hope to see you there.

Can’t show too much of the show since I want you to see it in person, but the installation will consist of a cluster of smaller works on recycled wood that will fill the wall.

Artist Reception: May 2 / 6-8pm
On View: May 2 – June 3
